Organizations We Work With
We are finding that we can help the poor more effectively when we work together with other like-minded organizations. When we collaborate together, we all benefit. Below are those organizations we are working with:
Feed My Starving Children – www.fmsc.org – Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and they ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world. Go to www.fmsc.org and learn how you can become involved.
We have worked with FMSC since 2010. FMSC works with our Partner, Joas, to supply food for the Christian school in Haiti. Hearts of Hope pays the shipping to get the food to Haiti. In 2010, we shipped a 20-foot shipping container of food to Haiti to be used to feed hundreds of children every day at a Christian school. In 2011, we shipped a 40-foot shipping container full of food. That is enough to feed 1000 poor children one nutritious meal every day of the school year.
Starfish Asia – www.starfishasia.com Starfish Asia is a Christian organization that operates out of the United Kingdom. Hearts of Hope works in Pakistan, trying to help very poor Christians there. In 2011, we corresponded with Starfish Asia staff and learned that they knew personally the Ministry Partner we work with in Pakistan. They had been to his house on numerous occasions and had visited the Christian school as well. Like us, they work to help the needy in Pakistan. The needs in Pakistan are so great. We praise God for the work of Starfish Asia and want to share with our supporters their work. We appreciate all they are doing to help the poor and hungry in Pakistan.
